Helping Haiti
Om Sunday the 16th of May the Burr and Burton Student council (witch I am apart of) will be putting on a Walk- for- Water to help bring clean fresh water to the many still homeless in the nation of Haiti. It will be $10 per person to walk and we cant forget that there will be performances of 2 local bands, Greyspoke and Gold Town. The council has been doing event ever since the earthquake hit and this will definitely not be our last. Commitment is the key and Burr and Burton Academy has that!!!! We reach our for care to one another because we are a global community and we do see all as equal and as our broths and sisters, when disaster strikes we act, we acted in through out our past and as a newcomer I cant say anything else than that I am proud to be saving the lives of many through out the world.

A Flash Back; Try it
Today I looked at our US flag flutter in the wind in total silence only herring the flapping of the flag and the rattles of the chain that keep it flying. would suggest to you to do the same it brings tears to my eyes as I repeat the National anthem word by word in my head, it will give you hope for the future. Early this school year at a soccer game they played the Anthem and it literally brought me to tears, it really does give you the feeling that things will and can only get better, because the battle for witch the National anthem was written after is similar to today, because we will know that the flag did give proof through the night and that the flag was and always will be there, and that America always be the land of free and home of the brave because we will fight and we will win because the people of this nation are strong and wont let there rights and freedom be taken away because of our bravery we will not back down and we will, like with every battle fought by our finest citizens, win
